Anywho, I like your ideas here. Concepts are good, you've kept your own style of course (props, props) but you gotta bump up the shading a bit, or they just won't come off as 'showy'. The reason even the crappy Pokemon in the new gens catch your eye is cause they are drawn with a very streamlined, simplistic style, even when they are rendered in detail. Your style demands stronger shading I think.
Still love it, though.
I agree with you... after the 2nd generation, I am not so interested in many of them, lol.
